XI Edition of Maiori's Dance Festival

A week fully dedicated to the art of Dance.

A very brief but intense event that on its 11th edition is now considered as one of the most important cultural events of Maiori.

The festival is an occasion for Dance Schools and Dnace students to meet exchange and grow together under the guidance of expert international teachers.

Also for the second year in a row, the festival will hold a special award for emerging coreographers, who will have a chance to perform in front of important dance personalities.

Secret Walks - Medieval Stroll in Scala

Secret Walks

Together with Scala's PRO LOCO to explore the most ancient town of the Amalfi Coast. The walk will go initially to Minuta to visit S.Maria Annunziata church to continue at Sant'Eustachios' Basilica, ending on the Pontone's Castrum Scalellae where to enjoy a magnificent view on the Coast.

The meeting point is in Piazza Flavio Gioia, in Amalfi at 9.45 am, to catch the bus to Scala at 10.00 am. Bus tickets have to be purchased in advance.

The trail it's EASY and it lasts about 5 hours.

Maiori - Interactive Exhibition "LEONARDO DA VINCI"

Leonardo da Vinci's machines are exhibited in the evocative set of Palazzo Mezzocapo's theatre and gardens.

The exhibition is only a portion of the larger permanent from Leonardo da Vinci's Museum in Florence, and it has toured many museums worldwide, and now it is being held in Maiori to enrich the cultural offer of the Amalfi Coast from May until October.

The Exhibition is open Mon to Fri - 17:00 to 23:00
and on Sat, Sun and bank holidays - 10.00 to 13,00 - 17,00 to 23,00

All the world's a stage...especially when in Maiori! The town one of the largest on the Coast has been the favourite of many throughout history. Etruscan, Romans, Normans, kings and armies, the clergy and finally film directors, came to Maiori to leave a mark of their passage.
