Spose di Ieri

The exhibition "Spose di ieri" (Yesterday's Brides) is a homage to Giovanna Liguori, a fine embroiderer from Cetara who created beautiful bridal gowns for generations of Cetaresi brides. The event will also be a moment to talk and discuss about the old craft of embroidery and of female entrepreneurship in the old days and now.

Interactive Exhibition "LEONARDO DA VINCI"

Leonardo da Vinci's machines are exhibited in the evocative set of Palazzo Mezzocapo's theatre and gardens.

The exhibition is only a portion of the larger permanent from Leonardo da Vinci's Museum in Florence, and it has toured many museums worldwide, and now it is being held in Maiori to enrich the cultural offer of the Amalfi Coast from May until October.

The Exhibition is open Mon to Fri - 17:00 to 23:00
and on Sat, Sun and bank holidays - 10.00 to 13,00 - 17,00 to 23,00

“MEMORIAE” - Igor Mitoraj

“Memoriae” is the title given to the prestigious exhibition that on the 31st of March opened Fondazione Ravello's intense calendar of events and activities.
Monumental creatures, "modern idols worn out by time" will populate the streets of the "town of music" starting from the square in front of the Auditorium Oscar Niemeyer down to Piazza Duomo, through Villa Rufolo's gardens. Igor Mitoraj is considered one of the most important sculptor of our times . the title "Memoriae" was inspired by the underlining theme of the coming Ravello Festival.

Culture week in Amalfi and Atrani is the occasion for San Salvatore del Bireto to disclose its important artistic heritage after a long closure. artistic heritage From the 15th until the 22nd of April. Opening times are 10.00-12.00 and 17.00-19.00 .

The opening event is at 12:30 on Sunday 15th of April.
