Myriads of colours everywhere one turns, It's as if nature did not want to spare any of the colours on the palette. The Amalfi Coast has them all in all possible nuances. Blues dominate the landscape, bright blue of the sunny sky down to the dark blue of the sea to reach the coast with beautiful shades of greens and azure. And then bang! Yellow bursts out with all its strength dotting the landscape with the sharpness of lemon trees all around, and the red matte colour of the cliffs that dive straight back into the sea. This is what makes the Amalfi Coast an evergreen tourist location; it doesn't matter how many times one has been here, the eyes will always be compelled to gaze into the landscape and realize that such a beautiful place really does exist. This is the strength of the Amalfi coast, no matter how many years have gone by, how many tourists have walked its roads, how many summer nights it hosted, Amalfi Coast remains a pearl in the Mediterranean awaiting to be discovered again and again. It is famous for being a fancy location, not only for all the VIP that chose and still choose to retreat here, but the place it' fancy because is the Coast itself that will not settle for anything less than beauty.

Steps in hundreds, steep hills, more steps, rocks, there is hardly anything laid horizontally here, but this is what makes this location so beautiful, from everywhere one looks there are magnificent sea views that purposely asked the land to grow a bit higher so that those that would have come, could have had the best view possible. Always.

There is something mystical in the Amalfi Coast, as if only the intervention of the Gods could have made possible such beautiful landscape, almost each town along the coast is linked to some legend from Ulysses to St. Francesco. And even in the most recent days this land has seen the presence of great and famous personalities, that lived here and were inspired by these locations. Many films, operas, poems, pieces of art were created as an homage to the beauty of the Amalfi Coast.

It takes a few hours, maybe even a few minutes to get sucked into the Amalfi Cost pace of life. It might be all the steps, or the slow buses, or the incredible colours of the sunset, whatever it is time changes, suddenly there is much more of it. Finally you can relax. And if your intention is that of complete rest, even feeding yourself wouldn't really be a problem there is fruit hanging from trees all over the place, fish in the water that will jump out if one asks and most surely some worried woman that will fear for your health, and bring you a plate of something delicious if you manage not to move long enough from the sunbed but of course you'll be missing out on all the delicious local restaurants or even just on the rest of the supper that the lady had prepared on the table. The Amalfi coast is for everyone, at anytime, at any pace. It is a stretch of land that runs from Vietri sul Mare to Positano and in just about 80 Km long, hiding within pieces of history, art, natural beauties and exquisite culinary surprises.
