The B&B option can be considered a halfway option between hotel isolation and apartment accommodations, between not having to do any chores for the whole day and getting to know the locals. Here there is a greater chance of meeting locals who generally run B&B, and they can give advise and heads up on what to do and what to see.

Some B&B are located in very nice secluded areas, which are not always indicated in tourist maps, so by venturing along village's small alleyways to reach the chosen B&B you will also experience the most hidden and peculiar parts of Amalfi Coast villages.

One important detail, is that in Italy breakfast is only coffee and cookies or a pastry, so this could be all the breakfast you will get, and it really isn’t enough to last you until dinner. This is not always the case, as some landlords are trying to give a meaning to the word “breakfast” on the sign outside their door, but it is better to always ask, if they serve continental breakfast.
